Self Worth
What is self-worth? Self-worth is the opinion you have about yourself and the value you place on yourself.
We are influenced by society, media, and our caregivers. It can be challenging to tune into what your authentic values and beliefs are. For example, If you have been told that you are too much you may hide parts of yourself that you truly want to express.
This suppression may work for a while but at some point, your body will start to tell you it’s not ok. This can come through as anxiety, depression, looping thoughts, and isolation, etc. At its core, you’re feeling misaligned and unworthy.
How you feel about yourself can be extremely difficult if you have been through trauma or have difficulty coping with life stressors. Trauma does not have to be physical it can be emotional as well. This is why finding the right support can help. You are not alone.
So how do you take your power back?
First, in a safe, non-judgemental space, we explore what is going on in your world and look at your value and belief systems you have about yourself. You may have beliefs that are serving you and others that are not.
