Grief or loss can mean many things for different individuals. Sometimes we experience loss through death of a family or friend, but at times we feel loss through break ups, job loss, friendships that dissolve, conflict with family members. All of these life events can cause distress, hurt,anger, hopelessness and feelings of despair. The goal of therapy is to help you understand the loss by exploring the meaning behind the loss, including what the loss means for your future, and gain the tools that will help you accept the loss and reduce symptoms of grief so you can move forward.
